As others have recommended, I would recommend a VFD as well. With a VFD, you won't need to de-rate the machine as you will with a Phase Converter. I used an EATON MMX12AA7D0F0-0 VFD on my 1.5HP Bridgeport. This VFD is rated 240V Input and 2HP Output. Hope this helps if the one you ordered doesn't work out.-30cal
